Scrap Happenz! Challenge

I've been participating in a Critique group at Scrapbook.com for a few weeks. It's a group of scrappers from around the world (thanks to Watson) that share scrapping tips, techniques, laughs and general chatting. We also challenge each other with ideas - the first challenge was called "Finding Your Style".

The challenge consists of this: look through your old layouts, the gallery, and/or magazines and *quickly* find 3 layouts that you absolutely adore. Look closer at the layouts and list the reasons why you like them? Do they contain some of the same elements, or techniques? List 3 of those elements and incorporate them into a layout. If you don't know which elements you like/don't like simply list your 3 favorites.

Here's my FINAL entry for the Scrap Happenz! Find Your Style Challenge. No competition here, I just wanted to make this LO special.

1. Use only ONE photo
2. Use a large paper flower with dimension
3. Use ribbon

I added the journaling on ExtravOrganza by Jacquard and hand painted the fiber fringe. For photo safety (my CM roots die hard) I sandwiched the ribbon brad's prongs between paper and cushioned it with foam tape.
